I’m John, an easy going photographer living in Margaret River.
Family is everything to me, I love the adventures that I share in the South West with my wife Shannon, daughters Lily and Summer and son Felix.
It’s a major passion of ours to live self sufficiently. Nothing beats cooking up a meal from veggies you have grown in your garden, it just tastes better. A bit like when someone makes you a sandwich for lunch, it’s yummier right!
The ocean is our playground and my day always starts with some form of contact with the water, whether it’s hitting a 4WD track for a surf, checking the cray pot or swimming at Gnarabup.
Photographing connection, emotion and love.
I love photographing people when they are immersed in the moment and totally unaware of the camera. A skill I honed on the streets of London when I was a teenager. I would walk the streets all day with my film camera, watching people and their stories and capturing moments that drew my interest.
I now channel my expertise in documentary photography into telling wedding stories for my amazing clients.
Capturing thousands of spontaneous moments, helping my clients and their families remember what a fantastic time they all had together.
