Equally at home on acoustic, resonator and electric guitars Graeme Dickinson is a class act, schooled on the Blues through the Delta to Chicago to Texas. He will also serve up Country, Folk, Rock and Jazz, his originals and follow whatever mood the audience wants. From turning it on with a dance groove to cool laid back instrumentals, Graeme’s range of styles is as wide as his influences and as long as his years of playing.
With skilled finger picking, slide and warm electric grooves, Graeme mixes his originals and covers from a selection of songs recorded from the 1920s onwards. Immersing himself in the history and mythology of the music, he sees it as a river; sometimes he guides it and other times he lets the river take it. Graeme’s music is soulful, lively and interesting.
