The journey to be married began when Ryan proposed to Jazmin when their daughter was just five months old, on Christmas day in 2019. Together for thirteen years, the joy of being married had come to fruition.
”We planned a trip to Margaret River for the ANZAC Day long weekend and on a whim I decided to contact Run Away weddings to see if they could organise a tiny wedding/elopement for the dates of our trip. Much to my surprise they were available and Ryan and I decided to lock it in with only 8 weeks to go. We have enjoyed many trips down south, including our babymoon so it felt right.” Jazmin
”My stand-out memory was going to the ceremony in the car together and walking down the “aisle” holding hands.” Jazmin.
”Our wedding style was “go with the flow”. My dress was a sale item that needed altering and Ryan wore a suit he has worn to other weddings. It all came together beautifully and we were genuinely happy and relaxed for it. We chose autumn tones to compliment the season, although our daughter refused to wear her dress on the day, instead selecting for her own style!” Jazmin.
Notes for future couples. ”In times like these you need to be prepared for your wedding plans to change at a moments notice. We endured a shortened guest list, a change of venue and catering option! In the end the day was a success but I believe that was due to flexibility and adaptability!” Jazmin
