Styling for me is more than just matching plates, choosing chairs and placing cutlery. It’s about creating a total aesthetic that stimulates your 5 senses and takes care of people, creating things that in turn creates memories for people to associate with a time & place. I offer my clients an uncomplicated, practical service that takes care of all aspects of the experience and aesthetic.
My journey started as a make-up artist in Adelaide, this amazing career that I loved introduced me to industry leading make-up artists, stylists, photographers, designers and the wedding industry. But I was always attracted to the events industry and pursued experience with events held by charitable organisations, sporting events and fashion shows. My destiny eventually led me to Margaret River where I worked for a Spa Retreat as the event coordinator. When I became pregnant with our first baby I took some time off to be a mum. It was during this time Aisle Style came my way, I loved the business and thought it was an opportunity I had to jump on. Aisle Style was a fantastic, successful business that offered hire, styling and eventually floristry. I had a passion for styling that was unstoppable, I truly loved working with my clients and my team to create beautiful aesthetics. Styling, floral design and planning is my passion, it gives me a creative outlet that I crave, I can unleash my OCD organisation quirks and I get to spend time with the industry’s best to create events that are unforgettable. In late 2016 I decided to step out on my own to do what I love (que #girlboss moment). I didn’t want to fall into a category or be limited by a brand, I just want to do what I love most. Having full artistic license is any stylists ultimate dream.
I feel so blessed doing what I do, with the opportunities to do it anywhere in the world but to call Margaret River home is pretty special, it’s such an amazing place that also offers a huge range of wedding & event locations and destinations. It’s the perfect canvas.
The Grace Loves Lace Perth Concierge 2016 is the highlight of my career to date. This amazing Australian brand embraces everything I love so as you can imagine working with them to create a signature GLL event was pretty amazing.
