I love the concept of being a photographer.
Simplistically I hold a camera, focus it on a chosen subject and record what is before me. I can then view or print the image and it would not be incorrect to call this the complete photographic process.
However within that captured image will be content that to the viewer will hold more than just areas of highlights and shadows within a composition.
That viewer’s life journey has created an investment in emotions, either personal, environmental or both and the real message from that same image communicates with these emotions. To me true photography is about creating this type of valued communication.
To be placed in a situation, either in the field or at an event, where I can capture these images is a true privilege.
I truly appreciate your interest in my photography and hope my images communicate with you.
