This one level ‘u-shaped’ home has soft colours, abundant natural light & a serene bush outlook. The owner and her husband have mindfully designed & built 5 Rooms Retreat so it is entirely off the grid with sustainability is at the core of this design. Surrounded by nature the house offers a peaceful space. The house has a north facing aspect so stays warm and bright in the winter months as well as two slow combustion fires, one in the lounge and one in the dining room.
All profits from this accommodation are donated to breast cancer research.
The house runs almost entirely on solar power with a generator for back up use only. All water is rainwater collected from the roof. Our hot water systems are solar powered. Natural cork floors throughout.
