Our picturesque gardens, valley, dams, bush and vineyards provide a perfect location for functions and events, including being a superb backdrop for any photographs taken on your special day. Rivendell is one of the early pioneers amongst the wineries of the northern Margaret River region and has a special connection with many people through memories of family gatherings, playtime in the gardens or special weddings with friends and family. 
Rivendell can provide you with your ceremony and reception venues as well as accommodation for more than 50 guests within walking distance. Whether you prefer a casual gathering enjoying the natural beauty of our gardens, a true Australian bush setting, our vast cricket pitch field or a flamboyant restaurant reception with all the trimmings – you can celebrate your special day at Rivendell into the night, under the stars or dance the night away on our deck!
The beautiful gardens feature several romantic locations to hold an intimate ceremony and reception or larger events. Nestled in the heart of the gardens is an extensive lawn area that is perfect for a marquee or tipi tent reception, larger events, or gatherings underneath the moon and stars. Our favourite is to host your post ceremony drinks with lawn games and an open bar for your guest to enjoy while you get your pictures taken at the countless beautiful photo spots on the more than 30 hectare property. If you have kids attending your special day our natural playground is conveniently located adjacent to the lawn area. Our backfield and cricket pitch is the latest addition to the event and wedding venue options at Rivendell. With the sky as your limit this venue is perfect for a true Australian bush setting and larger weddings. You will literally have 30 acres of open space to celebrate your big day. The use of a marquee is recommended to provide shelter from the elements and in combination with tents for accommodation of your guests this could provide you a truly amazing and very unique experience.
